專業概況
在這里學什么？This double degree gives you the opportunity to study science before undertaking medicine. This pathway allows school leaders who have achieved exceptional results to commence a three-year undergraduate science degree followed by the four-year Doctor of Medicine (MD). With a deeper understanding of the scientific fundamentals that underpin medicine, you will be better prepared for any career in medicine from specialisation to research and teaching. This program is delivered by the Faculty of Science and Sydney Medical School.

Majors
You are required to choose one major from the Bachelor of Science listing below and a second major or minor either from your faculty options or from our shared pool of majors and minors. During your Bachelor of Science, you will also complete 18 credit points of foundational knowledge units for medicine plus a zero credit point subject in Medicine.
Careers & future study
Future study options
There are opportunities for further study either between your Bachelor of Science course and Doctor of Medicine, or after you have completed the double degree. If you are interested in medical research, you may wish to pursue an honours course which involves an extra year of study and research. You can do so either by suspending your candidature from the Doctor of Medicine degree for one year, or after completion of the double degree.

Our science and medical graduates are in high demand and can be found in roles and careers including: general practitioner or specialist, surgeon, researcher, pharmaceutical industry, consulting, teaching, medical administration and communication.
