專業概況
在這里學什么?The Bachelor of Applied Science (Exercise Physiology) provides you with the knowledge, competencies and clinical experience required to deliver exercise and behaviour change strategies for the prevention and management of chronic disease. Graduates are eligible for both exercise science and exercise physiology accreditation through Exercise and Sports Science Australia.
During this four-year degree, you will:
develop a comprehensive understanding of exercise physiology, including areas such as musculoskeletal anatomy, muscle mechanics, neuroscience, nutrition, rehabilitation, and exercise testing and prescription.
train in the assessment of physical and functional capacity, the identification of risks and the design of targeted, functional and sustainable exercise programs.
specialize in the delivery of exercise and behavior change for the prevention and management of conditions such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, obesity, osteoporosis, depression, cancer and arthritis.
undertake over 500 hours of clinical experience, working with a range of different clients in numerous settings such as gyms, hospitals and on-site clinics.

Honors is your pathway to a higher degree by research in the health sciences. Graduates who do not choose the honors pathway and wish to further their study in this area may consider a higher degree by research including the Doctor of Philosophy or Master of Applied Science.
