在這里學(xué)什么?Make a lasting difference. The combined Bachelor of Arts and Master of Nursing program develops analytical and critical capabilities alongside the skills and expertise you need to become a registered nurse. It opens up a wide range of career opportunities across both clinical and non-clinical settings.
As an arts and nursing student, you will learn from leaders in the humanities and healthcare disciplines, gaining a broad interdisciplinary knowledge alongside leadership and critical thinking skills. The Master of Nursing combines hands-on learning with more than 800 hours of clinical placements to develop a comprehensive understanding of professional nursing practice. You will learn to understand the impact of nursing practice within local and global health contexts, and across changing healthcare systems. Upon graduation you will be eligible to apply for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
Complementing your nursing studies, the Bachelor of Arts allows you to explore your passions, interests and ambitions as you develop all-round professional capabilities. The University offers more than 15 languages at beginner and advanced level, along with choices in 45 other areas including economics, theatre and performance studies, social policy, international relations, Indigenous studies and film studies.
You can complete this combined degree program in four years of full-time study, after which you will graduate with two qualifications. With a diverse range of experience and expertise, you will be highly employable in both clinical and non-clinical settings spanning nursing and healthcare, media and communications, government, community organisations and research.
